How do I enroll my child in the The Discovery Lounge, Inc Program?

You enroll in the program by completing the online registration on The Discovery Lounge website (www.thediscoveryloungease.com) with the required $40.00 registration fee per child. Then you would choose your level of service. 
 

Is the After School Program a structured environment?

Yes.  A routine is in place so that on a daily basis the children know what to expect.  Upon arrival they enjoy their snack and socialize with their peers, followed by homework help and then they rotate between their chosen clubs (Dance, Music, Drama, Art/Crafts and STEM Challenges enrichment and fun activities

What Is drop-in service?

Drop-in service is available to parents who do not require after school care on a regular basis but find themselves in need of care for a day.  You must contact tapsadmn@gmail.com prior to dropping a child in.  This service requires you to pay ahead of time unless it is an emergency situation and you needed care due to not being to get your student at the time you normally would. If that is the case you would need to pay at pick up. Drop in can not be used in lieu of paying the weekly fee. If we find you need drop-in care every week we will have to enroll your child into our part time care. The cost for drop in is $25.00

​How do I pay for the program?

We use automatic recurring debit for care. Weekly payments will post every Friday, monthly payments will post each calendar month. When school is out of session for breaks and closings we will stop the draft. 
 

If my child misses a day, can he or she make it up?

No. We charge on being in the program and not attendance

How Often Can I change my care plan?

Once you are on a plan yo will have to wait until the next month to make a change. You will not be allowed to change plans every month, you will need to make sure you choose one right for your family.

Does the program offer One on One and Specialized Care ?

Please know that while we strive to provide the best care for all children at The Discovery Lounge, our current staffing capabilities limit us from offering one-on-one care or specialized care that goes beyond our general training requirements. We understand the importance of these needs and are committed to ensuring the well-being of every child within our capacity. We at The Discovery Lounge are wholeheartedly open to collaboration with any agency or personal caregivers who accompany the children. Our goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment, and we welcome the opportunity to partner with those who can provide the one-on-one care that some children may need.
